In Jayapura on 25 November 2013 representatives of HAPIN and the SMA Gabungan had a meeeting. Persons present were: Mr. Morin - Yayasan SMA; Mr. Wiran - Yayasan SMA; Mr. Sugiyanto - SMA; Mrs. Dekeniap; Mrs. Maloali - alumnus; Mr. Windessy - pt. HAPIN; Mrs. Nari - pt. HAPIN; Mrs. Maturbongs - pt. HAPIN; Mrs. Ingamer - HAPIN-NL; Mr. De Lang - HAPIN-NL. Reinier explained HAPIN's role of representing the 'working group SMA Gabungan' - for this purpose Humphrey and Addy have written and under signed a letter addressed to the authorities of the SMA Gabungan school which Reinier handed over. Various options for how to make use of the fund established by the 'working group SMA Gabungan' are discussed: = Supporting SMA pupils for example by paying part of their study or the books needed for school = Supporting the SMA Gabungan school regarding buying and/or maintenance of devices. The representatives of the SMA Gabungan school explained they were looking for finances for rebuilding the school, - options considered are co-operating with bank(s) to obtain the necessary funds, and the option of building in behalf of the 2020 national sport event a sport centre that can also be used as building for the school. |
